  Nice restaurant. The perch platter is delicious and the waitress was friendly. The owner even came by our table and asked if everything was ok-no complaints

  A few minutes later we were told they were out of the beer we ordered… so we got something different and then finally got to order food. We ordered 1 two piece fish dinner to share. When the food finally arrived we were given 1 two piece dinner and 1 one piece dinner…that was delivered by someone other than our waitress, we advised this wasn’t what we ordered, he left to inquire and came back saying it was a mix up and that we’d only be charged for 1 dinner, which was fine. But our waitress NEVER came back to check on us or to apologize for the mix up, eventually we had to go back up to the chase and ASK to pay. There was another couple sitting near us who was also ignored after ordering their drinks and the man went inside and ASKED to order their food! The woman said she thought it was just them being ignored, I ensured her it wasn’t just them!

  We choose to sit outside and ordered beer as we looked over the menu. We were then ignored for about 20 mins, when we inquired the waitress said ‘I think she’s making your drinks’ … how does one make beer?!!?

  If I could put zero stars I would. My experience from start to finish was one of the worst. One lady working the restaurant by herself who was rude, unprofessional, looked like she worked in a prison kitchen! Everything, the surfaces, the vinegar bottles, salt and pepper shakers was sticky. The food was bland, to say the least. I felt nauseous after eating there. Food quality is a problem as well.

  Should have read the reviews first. We walked in and awkwardly stood there, not sure if we should seat ourselves or not. No sign indicating either way. The staff are nice enough, but seemed rushed and tired. Took forever to take our order let alone bring the food out. I had a chicken Ceasar salad which was a bland plate of lettus, those pinkish simulated bacon bits and what looked like half a breaded chicken nugget chopped up and mixed in. I am sure the fish here would be good, as it is likely pretty fresh but we did not order that, sadly. A burger and fries was also ordered at my table, which was mediocre at best. Way over priced for the quality of food that is served. Haven't tried many other places in Port Burwell, but I can tell you for sure - go 10 minutes away to Port Bruce where even the skummiest food shack serves food 10x better than this place

  When we first walked in we went to the front cash as we didn’t know if we should just take a seat or if we’d be seated. We were asked what we wanted and where we were sitting… I said ‘we are not sitting anywhere we just got here’
